Your Bill Summary details the energy you have used during the billing period. The bill is broken down into 3 key areas:
Total cost for Electricity usage
Here you will see a breakdown of the cost of Electricity based on your usage. We also show you the VAT that has been charged on your usage.
Total cost for Gas usage
Here you will see a breakdown of the cost of Gas based on your usage. We also show you the VAT that has been charged on your usage.
Total charges and new balance amount
Your previous balance is shown. This includes any payments you have made since your account was last billed.
Your new current balance now includes your recent energy usage charges from the bill period shown.
What does debit and credit mean to me?
We only ever want you to be paying for the energy you use in that year.
As shown in the graph above, you can often build up a credit balance throughout the summer months. We would recommend leaving this balance on your account to pay for the extra energy you may use during winter. In most circumstances you don't need to do anything, if you have built up a credit balance we will automatically refund this to you after your annual review.
