Smart Thermostat Black Friday Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter is ScottishPower Energy Retail Limited ("ScottishPower"), which has its registered office at 320 St Vincent St. Glasgow G2 5AD. (the “Promoter ”)
  2. The promotion period will start at 08:00 on Friday 23rd November 2018 and end at 16:00 on Monday 26th November 2018 (the "Promotion Period"). Entries received outside this time period will not be accepted and will be disregarded by the Promoter.
  3. The promotion is open to legal residents of Great Britain aged 18 years or over who purchase a Smart Thermostat from the Promoter during the Promotion Period and provide their name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number and consent to the Promoter contacting them via all available marketing channels with further promotions after the conclusion of the Promotion Period. ("Qualifying Entrants”).
  4. Each Qualifying Entrant, upon satisfaction of these terms and conditions in full, shall be provided with an Echo Dot in addition to the Smart Thermostat purchased by them from the Promoter. The Echo Dot shall be provided at no additional cost to the Qualifying Entrant over and above the cost of the Smart Thermostat and will be delivered along with your Smart Thermostat.
  5. Only one Echo Dot shall be provided to each Qualifying Entrant regardless of the number of Smart Thermostats purchased by them from the Promoter.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and has the right to reject any applications that appear to be duplicates, materially incorrect or fraudulent.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to honour the promotion in respect of any entrants acting in bad faith or in breach of these terms and conditions.
  8. This offer has limited availability and the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the offer or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.  No correspondence will be entered into.
  9. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any inaccurate postal address information provided by the  Qualifying Entrant which results in the Echo Dot or Smart Thermostat not being delivered. A replacement Echo Dot or Smart Thermostat will not be provided in such circumstances.
  10. The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Qualifying Entrant or accept any responsibility or liability for any damage, loss, liabilities, personal injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any Qualifying Entrant in connection with the promotion.
  11. No cash or other alternative to the Echo Dot will be provided by the Promoter in substitution for the Echo Dot.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time. The Promoter's decision regarding any aspect of the Promotion will be final and binding. 
  13. Qualifying Entrants agree that by entering into the Promotion, any personal details supplied by them may be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion and for the use of direct marketing by the Promoter. The Promoter will only withhold the personal information of Qualifying Entrants for the duration of 1 year. Qualifying Entrants shall be entitled to opt-out of marketing at any time by emailing the Promoter at contactus@scottishpower.co.uk or by writing to the Promoter at Customer Services, ScottishPower Energy Retail Ltd, 320 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5AD.
  14. If  you are an existing customer of the Promoter for the purposes of the supply of and/or electricity to domestic premises your current marketing consent will not be impacted by your opt in preferences for the purposes of this Promotion.
  15. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
