Linked Boiler Care Plans FAQs

What are Linked Boiler Care Plans?

You can link your Energy Tariff with one of our Boiler Care plans. There are tariffs exclusively available to customers who purchase selected Boiler Care plans when choosing their new energy tariff. Please note some energy tariffs linked to Boiler Care plans may only be available through selected sales channels, such as via the web.

What are Boiler Care Plans?

There are two different kinds of Boiler Care plans we can offer with our tariffs:

  • Boiler Insurance is an insurance policy available online that gives you security knowing help is at hand if your boiler breaks down. This is only available via the web.
  • Boiler & Service Care is a maintenance and support plan, which is designed to help maintain your boiler and mitigate the risk of breakdown. Please note this is not an insurance policy. This may be available via the web or over the phone on 0800 027 0072.

Who provides the Boiler Care?

Boiler Insurance is provided by Domestic & General Insurance PLC.

Boiler & Service Care is provided by Domestic & General Services Limited.

What Boiler Care plans can be linked to the tariffs?

The following Boiler Care plans can be linked to these tariffs:

  • Boiler Insurance with £99 excess (£3.50 a month for 12 months, £42 for the year)
  • Boiler & Service Care with £99 call out fee (£9 a month for 12 months, £108 for the year)
  • Boiler & Service Care with £0 call out fee (£13 a month for 12 months, £156 for the year)

 Your Boiler Care plan will start 30 days after sign up. Your plan will then run for the next 12 months until your renewal. Full details of your Direct Debit and renewal will be provided in your welcome letter that you'll receive via post.

Where can I find Terms and Conditions for the Boiler Insurance plans?

Full Terms and Conditions along with the Insurance Product Information Document for the Boiler Insurance are available to view and download via the energy tariff pages (when these are offered). They will also be sent to you in your Boiler Care welcome letter when you sign up to the policy; however, you can view further information about the policy as well as access these documents on the Boiler Insurance FAQs here.

Where can I find Terms and Conditions for the Boiler & Service Care plans?

Full Terms and Conditions for the Boiler & Service Care plans are available to view and download via the energy tariff pages (when these are offered). They will also be sent to you in your Boiler Care welcome letter when you sign up to the plan; however, you can view further information about the plan as well as access the Terms and Conditions on the Boiler & Service Care FAQs  here.
