Has this just started? Was it working correctly before? You could try flipping the main power off switch if you are not using the property. If some appliances are still working (fridge and freezer) the fault may lie with them.
@shergar13 Hello, do you mean your smart display? If so you can ignore it they often go wrong and it is not your bill. Check the actual meter and make sure it is not showing its reading is still close to normal.
After submitting my meter reading in the normal way, and noting the expected increase over the previous reading, i was shocked to see a bill of over £5K. I have double checked the reading and it is correct. Clearly there is something not quite right with your previous records. There is no way I have used the amount of electricity stated. Please help me get this sorted asap
