I have not requested a switch over to a new supplier

Have received an email, advising me, that in 3 weeks, I will be switching suppliers, but I have not requested this

Switch over will be complete for 26 Sept

Have all ready emailed scottish power, last week, still no reply, my bill due next week, so not intending to pay, till this is sorted

Can someone from scottish power care to comment

I don't think anyone from SP reads this forum, just other customers who have been treated badly by SP.

Most people here probably think you are fortunate to be leaving SP without having to initiate it yourself.  Smiley Happy

I had this too and a massive panic. Turned out to be spam

I wish it was spam, but its also on my Scottish power account, and move due to be completed on 26 Sept

Had emailed Scottish power 2 weeks ago, and still waiting a reply

I have received a sorry to see you go letter from Scottish Power. I have not requested to switch and last year I had the same problem getting through by phone and email. Been in touch with the fraud prevention officer and he said to report to Scottish power and they should investigate where request has come from. Also never heard of new suppliers octopus energy either. 

Trying for for third time to get through on phone here goes.
