Massive surge in Electricity for 3 months with no explanation

I've never had any problems, but I was just checking my bill and was a little surprised what I saw. But I have no idea what could have caused this increase.

I am wondering, what if anything can cause this amount of energy to be used? When in previous years nothing has ever happened like this, you'll see my previous months were nothing like it:

Could this be an error? The meter reading is correct without a doubt.

Help me Scottish Power... you're my only hope (sorry just saw star wars 8 Smiley Surprised )

Did you manage to get this sorted? I had a similar issue and having raised this with Scottish Power, they decided to change my meter. The new meter is working much better and is reporting a daily usage much lower than my old meter, which makes me wonder if it has ever been right. Scottish Power have promised to recalculate the last bill period but this issue could have been going on longer than that.

Hi @Hutber, this doesn't seem right I'd recommend you contact our customer service team.  They will be able to run some tests on the accuracy of the meter readings you are receiving from your meter and if they do believe it is faulty, will arrange a meter exchange for you Smiley Happy
