Wrong meter reading entered

Hi, I mistakenly entered a wrong gas meter in my online account which causes to generate a huge gas bill. How can I rectify it now?  Many thanks.

I would ring them on 0800 027 0072 and tell them the correct reading.

There should be a way to deal with this online. My "smart meter" comes up with so many different numbers, and ive copied in the wrong one. Scottish power couldnt tell me how to read my meter when i moved in! I had to figure it out online. Its only when i saw the huge bill amount that i realised it must be the wrong number. If this were all really smart you would be able to correct your own mistakes.

Hi Whatever, I hope SP can quickly cancel the reading you sent and allow you to tell them the true reading. The number is 0800 027 0072.
