These Go Green Bolt On product (“the Go Green Bolt On”) terms and conditions are between you and us:
1.1 The Go Green Bolt On is the online subscription by you to 100% renewable electricity on any eligible ScottishPower tariff. For further information on tariff eligibility, see "Eligibility", below.
1.2 Supplies of 100% renewable electricity through the Go Green Bolt On are limited, by reference to the allocation process outlined in condition 4.3 below, and will be actively monitored by ScottishPower. The Go Green Bolt On will available until it is removed from sale by us.
2.1 By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to subscribe to ScottishPower’s Go Green Bolt On on the terms and conditions set out herein.
2.2 These terms and conditions are in addition to any eligible tariff terms and conditions and the ScottishPower Gas and Electricity General Terms and Conditions for Domestic Customers, which can be accessed at www.scottishpower.co.uk/legal/terms-and-conditions/.
3.1 You will be eligible for Go Green Bolt On if you meet the Eligibility Criteria set out below. You:
4.1 The Go Green Bolt On will commence on the first day of the next calendar month after the date that you subscribe.
4.2 Once you have subscribed, you will receive the Go Green Bolt On at a cost of £3 per month charged to your electricity account with ScottishPower after the Go Green Bolt On commences.
4.3 Ofgem issue a Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certificate for every MWh of eligible renewable output to generators of renewable electricity in the UK. REGOs demonstrate that a given share of energy was produced from renewable sources. We'll match every MWh of electricity purchased on this tariff with a UK-sourced REGO certificate. Each REGO certificate shall be attributable to existing UK based renewable assets, including ScottishPower’s own installed capacity to generate over 2000MW of renewable energy per year. Based on the national average fuel mix for 2017-18, a UK consumer with medium typical domestic annual consumption of 3,100kWh of electricity will produce CO2 emissions totalling 713kg. As we will match your consumption with a UK-sourced REGO certificate, the annual C02 emissions under your tariff for electricity will be ZERO. You can access more information on government support for renewable supply, how electricity is physically distributed, and ScottishPower’s fuel mix.
4.4 The Go Green Bolt On will continue to apply as long as you are on supply for electricity with us and you comply with the Eligibility Criteria, as set out above in condition 3.1. If you transfer to a new, eligible ScottishPower tariff, you can continue to receive the Go Green Bolt On. This does not affect your right to cancel the Go Green Bolt On at any time, in accordance with the "Cancelling the Go Green Bolt On" terms below.
5.1 A charge of £3 will be added to your ScottishPower electricity account for each month that you are subscribed to the Go Green Bolt On.
5.2 The charge will be included as “Go Green Bolt On” in all future electricity bills from ScottishPower provided you remain on an eligible tariff. Your existing direct debit may be adjusted as a result of this additional payment and you will be notified in advance if this is the case.
6.1 You may cancel your subscription to the Go Green Bolt On at any time through your online account. Your electricity tariff will not be affected by any cancellation either by you or us.
6.2 Your subscription will terminate at the end of the calendar month in which you have instructed your cancellation.
