Winback Account Credit Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter is ScottishPower Energy Retail Limited (the "Promoter”), which has its registered office at 320 St.Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5AD
  2. The promotion is the award of an account credit (exclusive of VAT) in accordance with these terms and conditions to Qualifying Applicants (defined below) (the "Promotion").
  3. The Promotion will run for the period from 28th January 2022 to 25th March 2022 inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  4. The Promotion is open to applicants who meet the following eligibility criteria ("Qualifying Applicants"): (1) are legal residents of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over; (2) are new customers to ScottishPower that apply for one of our tariffs for supply of gas and/or electricity supply during the Promotion Period via the Immediate or Aged Winback URL’s or via phoning the Promoter’s inbound telesales immediate or Aged Winback lines or contacted directly through outbound Immediate or Aged Winback (3) come on supply with ScottishPower with a gas and /or electricity supply.
  5. The Promotion is not open to current customers of the Promoter or those who have applied for energy supply from the Promoter prior to the Promotion Period and are awaiting confirmation of their supply start date(s).  Customers that have signed up to the Promoter via an Affiliate partner (e.g. cashback website), via the Promoter’s Refer a Friend offer or via the Home Move process are ineligible for this Promotion. Furthermore, this Promotion is not open to ScottishPower business customer sales or ScottishPower Energy Service sales. The term “Energy Service” means a product or service sold by the Promoter other than Gas & Electricity. An Energy Service product includes but is not limited to; Boiler Care, Boiler Insurance, Smart Thermostat, Plumbing Drains and Electrics Cover and Electric Vehicle Chargers.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and has the right to reject any applications that appear to be duplicates, materially incorrect or fraudulent.
  7. Any Applications found to be transacting fraudulently with the Promoter will not be eligible for a Reward and may also have their details passed to Police Authorities for further investigation.
  8. The Promoter will award Qualifying Applicants with an account credit as follows:
    1. the sum of £50 (fifty pounds Sterling) where gas or electricity is supplied; or
    2. the sum of £100 (one hundred pounds Sterling) where both gas and electricity are supplied (the "Account Credit").
  9. All Qualifying Applicants from the Promotion will be paid an Account Credit on or before Friday 8th April 2022. Checks will be made to ensure the Qualifying Applicants remain in contract with The Promoter at the point of the Account Credit being paid. To be eligible for the Account Credit, the applicant must be on supply with ScottishPower for at least 28 days before payment is made. Checks will be made to ensure the applicant remains in contract with ScottishPower prior to the Account Credit being paid. In some cases, the tracking and validation period may take up to 3 months.  The Account Credit will appear on the Qualifying Applicant’s next bill after payment is made, which shall show the applicable credit (exclusive of VAT).
  10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any inaccurate information provided by the Qualifying Applicant which results in the Account Credit not being applied in accordance with paragraph 8.
  11. Only one Account Credit will be provided per household.
  12. The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any applicant or Qualifying Applicant or accept any responsibility or liability for any damage, loss, liabilities, personal injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any applicant or Qualifying Applicant in connection with the Promotion except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, or distributors or that of their employees.
  13. This Promotion may be withdrawn or suspended at any time for new applications where it is reasonable for the Promoter to do so. The Promoter also reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions for new applications at any time without prior notice where it is reasonable for the Promoter to do so.

  15. By entering this Promotion, the applicant accepts these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Account Credit to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  16. If the Qualifying Applicant’s serviced property is in Scotland, these terms shall be governed by Scots law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland. If the Qualifying Applicant’s serviced property is in England or Wales, these terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
