I have given up trying to contact Scottish Power......even their on line communication was non existent the last 4 tries. I have now got my final bill from extra power after 8 months waiting. Scottish Power insist that the delay was not their fault but I’m sure a lot of ex extra energy customers were waiting for their final extra energy bill before switching to a new provider.

Big provider ....and since it charges much more for its energy less likely to disappear overnight
Haven’t asked me to change to a smart meter......enough radiation in my house without adding more

More expensive ......when I compared my peak electricity cost with Scottish Power to that of Extra Energy it was 50% more!
Unhappy with website .....it’s only when you get your bill are the costs clear

I've been a customer for a great number of years,I've never had the problems some customers mention. Maybe I'm lucky, but I don't think so.

I need to speak with Scottish Power but the phone number on their site says "not reckognised" which is no use at all. I don't want to set up an app just talk to someone regarding the new quotes given to me. Does anyone have a phone number for them that works please. So fed up it might just be better to change to another supplier.
I don't have a problem, sometimes you may have to wait but the call doesn't cost me anything. You can always leave your number for a call back. Operators always polite and helpful. I can't remember how long I've been with them, to me that's a good sign.
@billmill I sympathise but my PowerUp is still working correctly, the service is due to stop in November. I am on the Apple iOS version, you have to make sure you have the latest update and that your operating system is also up to date. If your account has got messed up I suggest you leave PowerUp and ask to switch to a normal contract, because Powerup only has 9 months to run now. It was a good system and has saved me money, the best part is no standing charge.
