I’ve had a smartmeter for a while now & ever since it was installed my bills are literally double the amount it tells me on the meter. Has anyone else had the same problem? I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve called about it & been fobbed off that they’d check my usage week to week then don’t, say there’s a problem one minute & then deny all knowledge of said problem. Absolutely fed up & also skint!
There have been a lot of recent problems with the IHDs. Your bills are probably correct, but check two things, are they estimated? And do you have photo panels on the roof? The former can be caused by meters not transmitting, and the latter sometimes measures generated electricity as purchased electricity.
