My IHD is similar but not quite the same. Got the usual excuse that it takes a Luke of weeks to sync up. Total rubbish. I also noted the tariff on the meter in settings -account info is not correct so the billing it shows will be rubbish anyhow. I did find that under settings meter Info On the IHD I can see The actual meter readings of both gas and electric meters, so the IHD is getting the information from the meters just fine. So it must be simply the software on the IHD that is junk.
Scottish power were uninterested in the issue. They just want to tick the box to say another smart meter installed in order to hit the regulator target. They could not care less if they actually work or not. Support even stated the IHD was an add-on and they will only take a reading every 3 months for the bill process so I guess none of their processes have been updated to use the new technology. I guess because they know it does not work.
Like smart motorways, smart meters are not very smart.......
My smart meter no gas come through it, it’s says that one of the valves are of. What should I do in this situation in the middle of the winter 🙄 me and my 3 month old baby we going to freeze ffs
