Smart meter connecting to app

How long from installation does it take for the smart meter to connect to the app? It’s now been 3 weeks and still nothing.

We had our smart meter connected over a month ago. When I go to check the readings on the app it won’t show them. Any ideas anyone?

A lot of Apps have gone wrong recently.  If it is not the App at fault it might be your meters are not transmitting. If you ring SP they will tell you if they are getting data.

New meters installed & still not sending information to the smart meter whole idea is a joke & money making scheme as if we swap suppliers it won’t work

Same here & online chat is no help at all. Wish we had never had the SM much easier when we just read the meters each month

Hi Val, your problem is normal, your IHD (which is not called a smart meter) will start soon. Your smart meter(the real meter on the wall) is probably sending data to SP. just give it time to settle in. Send manual readings if you want to check the system.
