Had my so called smart meter installed in November, but display still shows demo mode, Engineer told me the same about them not connecting and to call SP in 5 weeks, called them and they have no record of me having one and would update their records still getting texts and emails saying they are in the area to organise my smart meter installation. I've just been emailed to provide meter readings so the meter obviously isn't sending them and have been told an engineer needs to come out, well I had to take a day off to get the thing installed and I'm **bleep** sure I'm not taking another off for the fella to say it wont connect, these smart meters arnt very smart...

Hi Coxy. Your display has not been paired with the meters. A fitter has to do this, not a customer. It also sounds as if your meters are not sending to SP so take manual readings and send them in. Tell SP that you need your system to be commissioned.
