Hi, You are right SP don't monitor this site routinely, you can alway complain directly to them and say your property is unsuitable, not a refusal.
The Smets 2 meters are said to have a more powerful local signal and therefore better for flats like yours.
We had smart meters installed on the 2nd October and they have not worksed since then. We have reported it numerous times, only to be told it will be sorted. WE have not had a bill since and been fobbed off with we will use an estimate bill and smart meters are compulsory by law.
I have been contacted many many times by Lowri Beck for a smartmeter installation and had two visits from the same installer, who had different reasons each time for why the job could not be completed. Mostly he wanted to complain about having to pay for parking outside my flat and seemed to take half an hour to resolve this. Each time he left without doing anything.
But the real sting is that I had to phone Lowri Beck to resolve the problem last time, spending a total of 23 minutes on the phone to them. This resulted in total call charges of £15.23!
Did you know that Lowri Beck not only messes up their installations but also charges you to solve them (or are they signed up to an 0844 scam and do this on purpose?)
