Since getting my smart meter fitted about a week ago my fuse box keeps tripping. I Phoned the company who put in the meter and they said that it can't be anything to do with their smart meter. Anyone else had this problem?
@Tbone Have a look at your meter installation, do all the wires seem secure and has the earth strap been moved? Normally fuses trip for downstream reasons in the house, not upstream reasons from the supply, but it could be an earthing issue. You could get it looked at by an electrician with a testing meter.
Thanks for your reply. I have manage to rule out the problem being one of my appliances after unplugging everything in the downstairs sockets and it still tripped. I have an electrician coming round tomorrow to try and get to the bottom of the problem.
